"Margo (The Ninth Of May)"

I distinctly remember going to the record store to buy "Margo (The Ninth Of May)" by The Browns. I loved the harmony of these siblings Jim Ed, Maxine and Bonnie Brown, of Sparkman, Arkansas. The song, a flip side of the Bubbling Under hit "Lonely Little Robin," never made any Billboard chart.

"The First Of May" hit Billboard's "Hot 100" chart in March of 1969 and its lyrics spoke of Christmas. It was their 11th charted title in the first two years of what would be a long career for the three brothers from Manchester, England.
